Cancer is The Leading Cause of Death in Pets

According to statistics, there are approximately 1.5M pet dogs and cats in Taiwan, and the number of pet owners has been increasing over the past few years. However, statistics also shows that cancer is the leading cause of death in pet dogs and cats. In average, one third of them die of cancer. There have been very limited treatment options in the past, which unfortunately causing many pet owners left with no choice but to choose Euthanasia in order to end their beloved pet's suffering.

A New Hope for Cancer-suffering Canine – Antican® the Pet Cancer Treatment

Antican®, the animal cancer treatment novel drug, approved by the COA, the Taiwanese Council of Agriculture (Veterinary Product License: 09176), is the 3rd approved anticancer drug in global and 1st in Asia. This product is approved to treat perianal gland tumor in canine. Through intratumoral injection, the drug acts directly on canine cancer cells, and only proper animal handling or restraint will be required, there is no need to anesthetize the animal during treatment. Moreover, Antican® has no chemotherapy side effects, which brings the pet owners and veterinarians a new hope and another treatment option.
